Dave Nathe started farming when he was six years old.
He now runs three farms along the Mississippi in Elk River — sweet corn, melons, more varieties of pepper than I could keep track of. His daughter Ashley joined us for part of the conversation. She’s the Executive Director of the Minneapolis Farmers Market, which is where a lot of what he grows ends up, and where I buy it on a Sunday morning.
